Kossack
Hired as New Animal Control Officer I
January
15, 2007
SHELBYVILLE, Ky. Shelby
County Judge Executive Rob Rothenburger announces that
Melissa Kossack has been hired to the
position of Animal Control Officer I for the Shelby County
Animal Shelter.
Kossack brings 20 years of
experience in the veterinary field as a Technician. With
previous employment in various animal care control positions
and various continuing education classes in the veterinary
field, Kossack is knowledgeable and qualified for her new
position. Judge Rothenburger states “Melissa will
definitely be an asset to our organization for her extensive
understanding of animal care and health.”
Prior to starting her new
position with the Shelby County Animal Shelter, Ms. Kossack
was employed at Barbour Lane Animal Hospital in Louisville,
KY. She currently resides in Smithfield, KY with her
husband and two children. Kossack started in her new
position January 11, 2008.
