Fiscal Court Appoints Fire District Board Members

SHELBYVILLE, KY. Shelby County Judge-Executive Rob Rothenburger announced that the following individuals were appointed or re-appointed to Shelby County Fire Protection District Boards.

Garnett Newton was re-appointed to the Bagdad Fire Protection District Board.

Dick Miller was re-appointed to the Shelby County Suburban Fire District Board.

Doug Smith was re-appointed to the East 60 Fire Protection District Board.

Billy Cottrell was appointed to the Simpsonville Fire Protection District Board.

Bill Cissell was appointed to the Long Run Fire Protection District Board.

Elmer Brown was re-appointed to the Waddy Fire Protection District Board.

All terms are set to expire June 30^th, 2014.

Rothenburger commended the aforementioned appointees for dedicating their time and talents to the betterment of their respective fire districts.
