ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

 

The Shelby County Road Department is advertising for bids for the purchase of 410 cubic yards of poured concrete.  The concrete must be delivered to the Shelby County Road Department and must be 4,000 PSI and meet all KYDOT requirements.  Concrete must be delivered on site as needed for the building of a 120’ x 70’ salt bin.  The company awarded this bid must be able to work and communicate with the contractor building this structure.

 

Bids must be at the Shelby County Road Department by Monday, October 4, 2010 no later than 3:00p.m.  Bids will be opened on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 9:00a.m.  Bids will be approved and awarded on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at our regular Fiscal Court meeting at 7:00p.m.

 

Shelby County Fiscal Court reserves the right to accept the bid deemed by it to be in its best interest, not necessarily the lowest bid; the right to disqualify bids from bidders not deemed to be qualified; the right to disqualify bids deemed to be defective, and the right to waive defects in bids where such defects are not deemed significant.
