2010-2011 Fiscal Year Rock Bids Accepted

 

SHELBYVILLE, KY.  The Shelby County Fiscal Court accepted County Road Supervisor Carl Henry’s recommendation to accept rock bids for the 2010-2011 fiscal year.   The following companies were awarded the winning low bids.

 

Harrod Stone - #2 at a price of $10.35 per ton

Harrod Stone – Class 2 Channel Lining at a price of $13.95 per ton

Hanson Aggregate – DGA at a price of $10.30 per ton

 

Road Supervisor Henry estimates that 18,000 – 20,000 tons of rock is used annually throughout Shelby County to improve, maintain, and build roadways.
