Non-Residential Construction: .06 cents per square foot
Detached Garages: $100.00

Fees for other required permits shall be as follows:

Residential Additions: .14 cents per square foot
Non-Residential Additions: .06 cents per square foot
Non-Residential Re-habitations: .03 cents per square foot
Demolitions: $25.00
Moving of Structure: $100.00
Blasting Permit: $50.00
Re-inspection Fee $50.00
Electrical Permits:* $25.00

Payment: Our office only accepts checks and cash.  Please make checks payable to the Shelby County Fiscal Court.  Please feel free to call with any additional questions!

NOTE:  The minimum fee for any activity for which a permit is required:  $25.00
The minimum fee for any commercial or industrial permit shall be:  $50.00

* Electrical contractors will need to bring both their Contractor and Master Licenses along with a copy of their Proof of Insurance.

The fee shall be doubled for construction started without a permit.
