Ison Re-appointed to Simpsonville Rural Fire Protection District Board of Trustees

 

SHELBYVILLE, KY.  Shelby County Judge-Executive Rob Rothenburger announces the re-appointment of Dan Ison to the Simpsonville Rural Fire Protection District Board following approval from the fiscal court at the May 19^th, 2009 regular meeting.

 

Simpsonville Fire Chief Walter Jones requested Ison’s reappointment stating “The knowledge he brings to the group along with being associated with some fire background from another community, will help in some of the major decisions that will be made in the future.”

 

Judge Rothenburger further states, “Dan [Ison] has illustrated his deep commitment to the Simpsonville Fire District throughout his current term.  He has proven to be a key component in the future success of the board, using his in-depth knowledge and experience to help guide future success.”

 

Ison’s new term will expire 06/30/2012.
