The overall objective of the Shelbyville, Simpsonville and Shelby County Human Rights Commission is to inform, educate and offer assistance in resolving inquiries of discrimination in employment, housing and public accommodation, as it relates to protected classes of: race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age and familial status.
