Livestock Retrieval Database
Shelby County Animal Control, in conjunction
with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, has
comprised a livestock database.
The purpose of this database is to assist our
animal control officers and local law
enforcement in identifying livestock and the
owner to which it belongs. In the event
that livestock escapes it's property, this
database will assist in the speedy recovery of
the animal to its rightful owner, thereby
reducing the risk to the animal and any dangers
to the public.
If you would like your information added to the
livestock retrieval database, please email your
name, address, phone number, and type of
livestock (accompanied by a brief description of
the animal) to
